Participants will showcase their talents in various musical categories, judged by a panel of esteemed adjudicators.
1. AsiaTEF CLASSICAL MUSIC SOLO ARTIST
Styles: Music choices from the music grade syllabus from any board of examination, such as ABRSM, Trinity, AMEB, RCM, LCM, IMEB, and Guildhall, etc., for solo performances.
Instrument: Classical Piano, Classical Guitar, Classical Vocal, Classical Violin
Note: Classical participants can use an accompanist.

Competition Details:
This competition is for solo performances. Participants must select their repertoire from one of the exam graded or diploma pieces from any recognized examination boards, such as ABRSM, Trinity, AMEB, RCM, LCM, IMEB, and Guildhall, etc.. This ensures that participants perform pieces that meet established standards of technical and artistic excellence.

2. AsiaTEF CONTEMPORARY MUSIC SOLO ARTIST
Genres: Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Rock, Country, Pop, Blues, Electronic, Hip Hop except classical music and traditional music.
Instruments: Any instruments or vocal except traditional instruments.
Note: Contemporary participants may use MP3 for backing tracks.
CONTEMPORARY MUSIC SOLO COMPETITION BY AGE GROUP
Age Groups and Time Limits:
Junior 1: Age 8 and below (max 3 min)
Junior 2: Age 9-12 (max 3 min)
Youth 1: Age 13-15 (max 4 min)
Youth 2: Age 16-18 (max 4 min)
Adult: Age 19 & above (max 5 min)
Open for all instruments/vocal.

The AsiaTEF Traditional Artist Category celebrates the rich heritage of traditional music, offering musicians the opportunity to perform and compete in solo performances categorized by age group.
Styles: Any kind of traditional instruments and music.
Backing Tracks: MP3 files allowed.
TRADITIONAL MUSIC SOLO COMPETITION BY AGE GROUP

The AsiaTEF Music Ensemble Artist category highlights the talent and creativity of group performances. This category is open to ensembles of all ages and allows for any combination of instruments or vocal performances, across any style of music. Groups can range from duets and trios to quartets, small ensembles, and large ensembles.
Performance Guidelines:
Age Groups: Mixed age groups are allowed.
Instrument Combination: Any combination of instruments or vocals.
Music Style: Any kind of music, across various genres.
Ensemble Size: Includes duets, trios, quartets, small ensembles, and large ensembles.
Backing Tracks: Not allowed.
Performance Duration: Maximum 5 minutes.
This category provides a platform for showcasing collaborative artistry and musical innovation, celebrating the diverse and dynamic nature of group performances.
A. DUET
Description: This category is open to ensembles consisting of two performers. It allows for any combination of instruments and vocals, and any style of music.
Performance Guidelines:
Age Groups: Mixed age groups are allowed.
Instrument Combination: Any combination of instruments or vocals.
Music Style: Any kind of music, across various genres.
Performance Duration: Maximum 5 minutes.
B. TRIO/QUARTET
Description: This category is for ensembles consisting of three or four performers. It allows for any combination of instruments and vocals, and any style of music.

Age Groups: Mixed age groups are allowed.
Instrument Combination: Any combination of instruments or vocals.
Music Style: Any kind of music, across various genres.
Performance Duration: Maximum 5 minutes.
C. ENSEMBLE
Description: This category is for ensembles consisting of 5 or more performers. It allows for any combination of instruments and vocals, and any style of music.
